I am so grateful for this life

I am so Grateful for this life I have been given. And the older I become, the more years I put on my odometer, so to speak, the more grateful I become.

It’s not that my life has always been comfortable, and happy, far, far from it.

I was a child in the early days of the Blitz on London. My first wife, Joy, died suddenly of a brain aneurysm. I am a cancer survivor.

But despite the challenges and misfortunes I have known—which we have all known—when I stand back and really look at my life, I realize what a remarkable, absolutely magical experience it has been. And still is.

Never in a million years could I have Imagined such an extraordinary tapestry of events, adventures, joy, tragedy and wonder.  Never could I have imagined I would be given the opportunity–if I so desired–to open my heart to the Truth of my existence, the peace and happiness that dwells within us all and is the birthright of us all.

Some people go on world cruises, and have wonderful experiences, I’m sure. But what about the ‘world cruise’ that Being creates for each of us, trusting we will find our way home to the freedom that alone makes us free, the Truth that alone makes us whole.

I send love and blessings. If you have any thoughts on the above, please write and share.
