Imagine a world where every toy is put away in its assigned place-where the magazine rack actually holds magazines-where every piece of flatware rests nestled perfectly against another. Pretty Neat, huh? Not in MY world! I am not an organized person. I make lists for everything I need to do and never get anything done! I procrastinate until my hair just waits to be pulled out!
Now comes along a gem of a Book with ideas and tips to help with my real world of chaos! Alicia Rockmore and Sarah Welch have written an entertaining and funny bone of a tome!
Here are two down-to-earth gals here to guide me! I am a pack rat. My daughter, Gracie, is a 7 year old fashionista who litters her bedroom and MINE with trails of skirts, slacks, blouses, underwear and various hair accessories as she tries to get dressed each morning! No, she refuses to consider the concept of organization. I grow tired of picking up after her! For heaven's sake, I'm too busy writing to-do lists and putting off till tomorrow what I'm not going to attempt to do today!
You really need to follow the advice in two of my favorite chapters, "Learn How To Say NO" and "Take Charge of Your To-Do List". Thanks to all this pratical advice, I'm learning to let go and do the best I can with what I've got! Especially my little fashionista!
