Si Sawat: Wi-chian maat, did you see the ‘Bai bpliw’ on this table?
วิเชียรมาศ: ไม่เห็นมีอะไรปลิวมานี่ เห็นแต่ใบไม้ปลิวหล่นมาที่พื้นดิน ไม่ได้ปลิวมาที่โต๊ะนี่
Wi-chian maat: I did not see anything ‘Bpliw’ this way. I saw a ‘Bai mai bpliw’ onto the ground; it did not ‘Bpliw’ over onto this table.
สีสวาด: ใบปลิว ไม่ใช่ใบไม้ปลิว
Si Sawat: I said ‘Bai bpliw’, not ‘Bai mai bpliw’.
เก้าแต้ม: นี่ไง(อย่างไร) ใบมะม่วงเนียะ(นี้อ่ะ)เพิ่ง(พึ่ง)ปลิวตกลงมา ชั้น(ฉัน)เลยเอามาให้สีสวาด
Kao Taem: Look, here it is! This purple leaf just ‘Bpliw’-ed down! I picked it up for Si Sawat.
สีสวาด: โธ่เอ๊ย เหมือนวิเชียรมาศเลย ไม่รู้เรื่องอะไรเลย
Si Sawat: Sheesh! You’re just like Wi-chian maat! You’re clueless!
วิเชียรมาศ: แล้วมันเป็นอะไรล่ะ
Wi-chian maat: So, what is it exactly?
สีสวาด: ใบปลิว มันเป็นกระดาษที่เค้า(เขา)เขียนข้อความประกาศหรือโฆษณา ชั้น(ฉัน)เห็นใบปลิวที่เค้า(เขา)โฆษณาอาหารแมวถึงจะให้คุณแม่ของพี่เก่งซื้อมาให้พวกเรากินไงล่า(อย่างไรเล่า)
Si Sawat: A ‘Bai bpliw’ is a piece of paper that gives you information or advertises something. I saw a ‘Bai bpliw’ that advertises some cat food. I wanted to give it to Mum so that Mum can buy the advertised cat food for us.
วิเชียรมาศ: เอ้า เก้าแต้ม ช่วยกันหาเร็วเข้า เดี๋ยวอดกินของอร่อยๆ หรอก
Wi-chian maat: Whaaa? Kao Taem, let’s look for it, quickly! Otherwise we’ll miss out on some tasty food!
ผู้บรรยาย: ใบปลิว คือ แผ่นกระดาษมีข้อความประกาศหรือโฆษณาเพื่อเผยแพร่ เช่น ใบปลิวโฆษณาอาหารแมว

‘Bpliw’ (ปลิว) basically means ‘(to) be carried or blown by the wind’.
‘Bai bpliw’ (ใบปลิว) is a compound noun meaning ‘(a) leaflet / handbill / flyer’ whereas a ‘Bai mai bpliw’ (ใบไม้ปลิว) basically means ‘(a) (tree) leaf carried or blown by the wind’.
