It's okay to say "NO"

By,
Shubham Srivastava.

Everything we are seeing, hearing or speaking always carries a deep meaning with itself. Sooner or later, it is going to matter. One needs to pay full attention to everything that is happening around him/her. No is also standing in the same queue. It also carries deep meanings with itself. Have you ever realized the power of No? I don't think so.

Saying No is not less than a blessing if we really realize it's power. Have you ever thought that half or even more than a half of your problems exist just because you said yes at some point of your life when you were required to say No? Had you said No at that time and most of the things in your life would have been phenomenal. The interesting part is that not only once but so many little moments in your life where you were required to say No. You said Yes and dragged yourself in an ocean of problems.

Why do you find it hard to say No? Specially to those persons who are very Close to you. You find it hard even when you have to say it to a stranger. First thing you have to realize that you don't need to explain yourself after saying No. It's your decision and you are accountable to No one. I repeat No one. Not even the person who is closest to you. It's just okay to say No.

It is one of the toughest tasks of one's life to learn the art of saying No. It may be tougher than learning alphabets in your childhood and you must not be surprised at it. It should be learnt in steps. For example, first you have to start with stranger, then with close person, then again with closer person and in final step, it has to be said to the closest person. You must not have any kind of reservations in your mind when you say No to someone. Saying No is a power which you acquire when you will start to take steps.

Saying No will close the door of your eventual problems and saying Yes will create so many problems. I am not saying to say No every time.I am saying that whenever your intuition or your gut instinct tells you to say No, just say No because your intuition or your gut instinct will never lie to you. It is protecting you from a mess in which you are dragging yourself.

It takes so much time to learn this art of saying No. Don't hurry it. It will come to you if you are paying your full attention towards it.

We live in a society where everything we do is reciprocated to us in a certain manner sooner or later. So, if you are learning to say No. One more thing you must learn is to accept No from someone even that person is closest one because if you have started to say No then it will come to you when someone will say No to you and you must not be hurt then because it was your decision. So take No from someone as you give No to someone. When you start to keep things in balance with in yourself, you would not need to go anywhere for justification of your decision or someone else's decision. You will just accept No as you expect to accept No by someone when you say No to that SOMEONE.

thanking you for your time. BBByee.
