How many violent fugitives are wanted in your town? A joint law enforcement effort by the FBI, Detroit Police, and Wayne County Sheriff’s Office were able to arrest 44 of these fugitives in a 3-day operation. A few of their offenses included armed robbery, domestic battery, felony assault, and weapons violations.
Speaking of Detroit theft, there was an organized heist at the Fiat-Chrysler Truck Plant in Warren. Thieves smashed through a security gate, stole 4 new Dodge Rams and fled on W. 8 Mile Road.
At 4pm a Dodge Durango pulled alongside a BMW on Detroit’s Puritan, and gunshots were exchanged. A stray bullet stuck a U.S. Postal Worker, wounding her and she’s being treated at the hospital. Police are asking the publics assistance in finding the suspect vehicles.

- 47-year old Ala Kazm Rasn was arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents. He is an Iraqi with a lengthy criminal record and was ordered to be removed from the U.S. in 2003. Rasn also has a an active warrant for his arrest for a burglary conviction in Orange, California.
- Three men sitting in a car were all shot from a drive-by shooting, killing one of them. The triple shooting occurred near Fenkell and Meyers at 10pm.
- The body of an unidentified Detroit man was discovered near Livernois and I-94, his remains indicate he was beat to death and left.
- A 23-year-old Detroiter was found dead in his car with multiple gunshot wounds. The murder was reported at 4pm by 7 Mile Road and Lahser.
- Three men forced their way into a Detroit home at lunch time on Santa Rosa. They fatally stabbed one man and shot another. Two of the suspects were arrested for home invasion and assault with intent to murder; one of them lives on the same block as the house they broke into.
- A 61-year-old Detroit woman and her 25-year-old grandson were both shot in a home invasion on Mettetal; the suspect fled and is still at large.
- A 24-year-old Detroit man entered an Auto Repair Shop on W. Outer Drive with multiple gunshot wounds and is now listed in critical condition.
