Detroit Realities #821

There are two iconic Detroit coney island restaurants right next door to each other: American and Lafayette. Around noon, a man took an object and smashed the giant windows to both restaurants. The owners say, “This happens at least once a month. Insurance doesn’t pay for it, besides all insurance is sky high in Detroit. Project Green Light real-time surveillance just watches it happen, it doesn’t prevent anything. They smash and run so they are never caught by the police. Welcome to Detroit!”

In a triple shooting at a gas station on Fort Street, two were left injured and one pronounced dead. Yes, this is a “safe” Green Light station with real-time police surveillance. Detroit Police are searching for the suspect’s vehicle.

In Detroit low-bail judges news, Judge Michael Wagner lowered the bail on Pierre Cleveland’s bond from $2,000,000 down to $20,000. Cleveland was arrested for 2nd degree murder when his 3 Pit Bulls mauled a 9-year-old girl to death last week. For putting up just 10% or $2,000 – this menace to society walks free…
