People that don’t live in Detroit are unaware of the ATV/quad/dirt bike mobs that flow around the with zero regard for road rules. The big draw is Michigan Avenue on the weekends. This has been going on for many years and some thought that it stopped with the tragic death of 15-year-old Damon Grimes (killed by State Trooper that should have been fired many, many excessive-force incidents ago – and was convicted of manslaughter for tazing Grimes while he drove). Locals say they start with “ATV Parties” advertised on flyers. Sadly, a 38-year-old died from his injuries when he hit a curb with his quad, lost control, and then hit a building. Detroit Police don’t chase the mobs (who flee in all directions), they wait until later and seize their vehicle when alone.

Another day, another triple shooting in Detroit where all three victims died. The shooting was at 5am on Devonshire Rd; at least police have a person of interest to go after.

A Detroit McDonalds and liquor store ran a scam on customers. They contracted with a company called Breakthrough Towing that immediately tows customer cars for $420 and split the profit with the business owners. The tow abuse became famous on social media and then the local news – so complaints flooded in against Breakthrough Towing and they lost their license. So what happened? They simply changed their name to Magic Towing. The owner, trucks, drivers and spotters are all the exact same people, just the name has changed. The state won’t lift a finger to stop either company from operating. So NEVER go to “Mid-Town Liquor” or the McDonald’s on Woodward by WSU unless you want to get your car immediately towed out of their parking lot.

On May 24, 2019 there were 7 people shot at 5 different Detroit locations. Lang Street = 18-year-old killed, 22-year-old survived his Gunshot. McNichols = 28-year-old woman will survive her gunshot. Edgewood = a 25-year-old man will survive his gunshot and a 30-year-old is in critical condition from his gunshot. Broadstreet = 42-year-old will survive his gunshot. 7 Mile Road = 20-year-old woman will survive her gunshot during a block party.

A Detroit Police cruiser hit a 12-year-old boy at 7 Mile Rd. and Harper. He is listed in serious condition. A second police cruiser responding to this accident lost control, hit a pole and brought down power lines. Both police officers were injured but are not being called life threatening.
