FALL RIVER — Jury selection began on Monday in Bristol County Superior Court in the September 2019 first-degree murder case that left a rival motorcycle club member dead and two others shot during a melee outside of JC’s Cafe on Bedford Street.

Joseph “JoJo” Noe, 28, of Taunton, is facing one count of first-degree murder and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon with serious bodily harm.
Noe, who is a member of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club, is accused of shooting to death 39-year-old Oak Bluffs resident Eric Voshell, who suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the back of the head.
During a brawl outside of JC’s Café where both club members had been drinking, Noe allegedly drew his handgun and fired five rounds.
Police had identified Voshell as a member of the Sidewinders Motorcycle Club.
In addition to Voshell’s shooting, bullets also hit Troy Parker, another member of the Sidewinders, and Brian Andruk, identified in a court filing as Noe’s friend.
Noe was indicted the following January and was released on bail in September 2020 on $50,000 cash bail and $500,000 surety bond. Noe was also ordered to wear a GPS tracker.
