The verdict is not final, however, as the case may still be appealed.

In a long-awaited ruling, the Päijänne Tavastia District Court ruled on Wednesday that the Cannonball motorcycle club, widely believed to be a criminal gang, was an illegal organization, effectively banning it from operating.
In the same ruling, the court also banned the group’s offshoot, Squad 32.
The prosecutor demanded that the club’s activities be stopped because it violated the country’s association laws.
Several other legal authorities, including the Supreme Court, have labeled the gang an organized criminal group.
Prosecutors said the group’s primary activities were outside the law and they considered Cannonball MC to be a military-style organized criminal organization.
In its ruling, the district court said there was a chain of command in Cannonball and Squad 32, with members required to carry out orders from their superiors. The court said the gangs are organized in a way reminiscent of a military organization.
