#1: THEY ARE NOT AFRAID TO FAIL
A Leader who Is constantly trying to avoid failure means a leader who is very unlikely to take the risks necessary to achieve success.
A good leader is not seeking failure, no, but a good leader doesn’t fear it. When failure takes place, they think about what they can learn from the situation and move on! See failure as a learning opportunity, not a setback.
“Failure is a speed bump on your way to success.” - Tony Robbins
#2: THEY LEARN FROM OTHERS
“Good artists borrow, great artists steal” - Pablo Picasso.
Why experience everything yourself? Why learn everything from scratch?
NO! Good leaders learn from the people who have already mastered it
Challenge: Schedule 15 minutes each day to learn something.
Here are my tips on how to effectively learn new things!

  • Websites like Lifehack.org, Quora or ProductivityHackr.
  • Listen to informational podcasts.
  • Read a book.
#3: THEY HAVE SELF-CONFIDENCE
Every leader needs to be self-confident. Without confidence, they won’t be able to make the tough decisions that leadership requires.

A leader needs to be able to clearly explain to your employee's goals or specific tasks.
They must master the many forms of communication. “One-on-one, social media, phone, team-conversation.
Leaders must motivate, instruct and discipline the people that are in charge of.
This can’t be accomplished if they are not good communicators.

People want to follow people who they like, that’s simple logic. Therefore, the best leaders are great communicators, approachable and friendly. They sincerely care about others.

Many leaders often become “ too nice” and this again turns into a liability.
Consequences of being “too nice” in leadership. Too nice leaders….

Good leaders understand that they never know everything, there is always something new to learn!
The best leader is constantly looking for ways to improve themselves. The world is always changing, and if a leader is not ready to adapt, they will be left behind.
Leaders must welcome change as an essential key to maintaining progress and success.
Be open-minded. You can learn something from every person!
#8: THEY KNOW HOW TO DELEGATE
The best leaders understand that they cannot possibly help others if they take on every single task by themselves.
They recognize their shortcomings and find the people who can help them with their weak-spots.
