Gong Xi Fa Cai, everybody! Today marked the second day of CNY, the festivities for which are, as always in my family, subdued (just the four of us - 11, if you count the number of animals currently in our household, arf arf!). Mum made CNY dishes as she always does, even though each year she voices a similar refrain: "It costs so much and requires so much work - next year we'll just go eat in a restaurant!" (side note: so far, we've never gone to eat in a restaurant). 

The proceedings this year, of course, are slightly different thanks to the existence of the little bubs. Marmalade has continued to be a pretty good mama to them, and even though it's only like day 4 since they arrived, we can see the Kittens have already begun to grow. It's quite astonishing, really! We are, however, a touch concerned that Marmy might reject the littlest little runt of the litter... hopefully she won't lah. We'll do our best to keep 'em together. Fingers tightly crossed.

In other news, my health situation is thankfully pretty stable, albeit with a few tell-tale remaining signs of the inflammation, which is probably not helped by the overabundance of food I've been scarfing down of late. I have a follow-up this coming Wednesday with the doc, so hopefully we can iron things out (fingers crossed) for the long-term/once and for all. Please God. Amen. :)
