More hangouts with friends over the past couple of days! Today I met up with Alvin and Karynn, though in our post-New-Year's stupor we didn't take any pics. Last Thursday (NY's eve) I met up with Fang over lunch at my favourite keto-friendly restaurant Staple Eats, which was lovely. There we did take some pics – of ourselves, and of dessert, arf!

What else? I've been spending time watching movies lately, though I've given up keeping track of the films I've seen unlike previously. Recently there's been more of a horror binge of new and less-new flicks; among them Come Play, Freaky (which I loved and saw it again with Mum yesterday), Shelter, Countdown, Don't Breathe. Trashy stuff! TV: Avenue 5, the Animaniacs reboot, The Hardy Boys (fun!), the first episode of a Korean zombie-esque series Sweet Home (hoping to binge more soon), and others. It's all rather laidback and languid, which I attribute to the abovementioned post-New-Year's stupor and the ongoing (and seemingly inconsequential) semi-lockdown that we're all in. Uncertainty and mundanity seem to be the themes of the day – and maybe that's not such a bad thing.
