With the addition of the “Dufferin County” hikes map… our options are probably close to 100 options. The usual restriction, is how far we feel like driving… and it is rarely >30m so… the farther areas will likely take some time to get to. We did venture out on Sunday however to Glen Haffy Conservation. Since finding the “back enterance” to the park, our attitude toward it has turned 180 degrees. Before we would park, then walk up and down roads for 20m before even reaching trailhead, now we are on trails immediately. It’s fantastic. The route (which has become the ‘usual’ route) is 10 > 9 > 11 > 4 > 3 > 2 > 1 then back again to form a loop. It is about 6km.
The trail was really icy. Without crampons we would have died.
