Had a great visit from Nivek last Friday night. We watched an incredible TFC game v. Columbus. Despite missing Gio, Jozy and Hagglund, TFC’s depth finally showed, with a stunning 5-0 win! I recall watching the mess that TFC was years ago. The turnovers, the lack of structure… and we both remarked how different the club looks today. There is always an option open for a pass, the ball movement is better, and the forwards get back and cover. The team is looking quite impressive… and that was without the top strikers!
After the game, we got a few hours of jamming in. My new-ish Roland amp got quite a workout. A fun night for sure. Great to hang out with Nivek.

Bdot was away most of the day Saturday at the CBC concert festival in Toronto. She had a great time (I scored a wicked vintage CBC hat) saying Walk Off the Earth were amazing. I got some Chinese and relaxed with some bad movies. I spent hours weeding and gardening most of the afternoon. I was really bagged. The Backyard is looking good though. We got our copper obelisk for the backyard garden. It is around six feet. It is pretty awesome. Sunday was more gardening… I guess ’tis the season.
