Creamy Melon Smoothie Bowl

Here’s the perfect midweek pick me up!

I love when nutrition looks and tastes this good. This smoothie bowl is decadent yet so simple. It is filled with goodness, full on flavors and so refreshing. It makes the perfect breakfast, or a snack. I hope you give it a try, and if you do, let me know what you think!

Ingredients:
2 cups cantaloupe
2 cups honeydew melon
1 banana
1 tsp agave syrup (optional)
2 tbsp flax seed powder
1/2 cup oat milk

Now the best part of a smoothie bowl…..the toppings! It makes this so customizable and “whatever is available” friendly.

Toppings:
Kiwi
Cacao nibs @navitasorganics
Chia seeds @navitasorganics
Blueberries
Pineapple

Method:
Freeze banana and both types of melons for 4-5 hours. Or you could use any type of pre-frozen fruit mix packs. Place them in a high powered blender (@vitamix) with flax seed powder, oat milk and agave syrup. Blend on high until really smooth and creamy. You may need to stir it around a couple of times in between.

Transfer to a bowl and put this in the freezer for another hour to set. Then scoop them out and enjoy!

I usually make a big batch and save it in an airtight glass container in the freezer for a couple of days.

Top it however you like, or follow what I did. I personally love Kiwi and pineapples with melons. The perfect combination of tart, sweet and fresh.
