Soy Garlic Green Beans

A really quick and easy recipe today with beautiful Green Beans. These green beans are ridiculously tasty; quick to make; and with some rice, it’s everything

Ingredients:
1 lb fresh green beans
1″ piece ginger, finely chopped
5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
3 green chillies, halved
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp agave syrup (or raw sugar)
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
2 tbsp oil

Method:
Trim the ends of green beans, and remove the strings from the side, if any. Rinse them well and set aside.

Use a large skillet or a wok and pre-heat oil over medium-high heat for 30 seconds. Add garlic, ginger and chillies. Fry for a minute and add in all the green beans. Toss together.

In a small bowl, add toasted sesame oil, toasted sesame seeds, soy sauce, and agave syrup (or sugar). Stir to combine. Pour this sauce over the green beans and thoroughly toss them together. Continue cooking the green beans for 8-10 minutes, mixing them every few minutes. And they’re done.

Do not over cook the beans, they should be tender to the bite, yet firm. Sprinkle more sesame seeds over the top just before serving.
