Most of my friends living outside of Venezuela are worried for my Personal Safety. And they are right. They have enough reasons to be concerned about my personal safety and integrity. Nonetheless I continue to attend to the demonstrations, whenever I can. Why? Because as time goes by, there is less and less to loose in Venezuela. I am not willing to exchange my live as a slave. If I am going to live, I want to do it free, not with chains.

In the past I have been tempted with the possibility to emigrate and start a new life outside. However, despite the counted valuable gestures of some friends of mine, I don't feel that getting out of Venezuela will be the solution to my problems at present time. So I decided to remain in Caracas, fighting with the tools that I have at my disposal.

Supposedly, today we were heading to the Foreign Ministry offices in the center of Caracas, at the same time that the OAS chancellors' meeting was taking place. We were not able to cross (once again) El Rosal in the Francisco Fajardo Highway. This time, I attended the demonstration with my coworkers and friends in the law firm. After I few meters of highway we had to get back since an ambush near the Avenida Andrés Galarraga started to fire directly to us Tear Gas and pellets. Amid the confusion I did not have time to see the kind of pellet that they were shooting.

I lost from sight my coworkers and friends, only I was able to watch María Cecilia who was pale and frightened. She put her helmet and I guide her through the multitude of people running. We ended up near from Chuao, almost two kilometers away from the highway. So you may figure out how much did we run.

I share with you two emblematic pieces of the day. First a picture of the national guard shooting directly to the demonstrators next to La Carlota Airbase, and a video of a gas bump worker who received a tear gas bomb directly in his face. This guy was not in the demonstration, but working!
