Thoughts of the day
If there was ever a week that I became enthusiastically crazy, then this might be the one.
I asked AI for some"lose my shit" synonyms.
They gave me an underwhelming list but I did find it comical that AI has no problem with "lose my shit" but it draws the line at "go batsh*t insane."
So this week is a little bonkers:
- Between Hayden and I, we have a softball game every night until Saturday.
- I work from home most of the time but this week I had to go into the office three times to be on a hiring committee. And I couldn't wear sweatpants. Or a hat. You can feel my pain, right?
- I had to take Lucy and Frizzle to the vet (they are fine) but taking two dogs to the vet can be stressful.
- We have family coming into town tomorrow so we have to clean up the house, get groceries, pick up dog poop, take down the sex swing, mow the grass, etc.
- And other little things like complaining about the weather, a doctor's appointment, getting Kyle to agree to a haircut, and buying a new TV felt more difficult than usual because of the other stuff happening this week.
But we are going to get through it.
We can "go batsh*t insane" another week.
