Historically, corsets were designed as an undergarment to shape a woman’s figure into an hourglass figure and as a base layer for dresses and petticoats.
But in 2022, stars are making corsets the focal point of their fashion-forward looks.
“We’re seeing actors and performers wearing more lingerie at red carpet events and at performances and I think we’ll start to see more of that trickle down into everyday fashion,” said Sapna Palep, CEO of the luxury lingerie brand, Daily.
