Snapdeal Integrates 2 New D2C Fashion Brands From Rangita, Urban Mark

E-commerce platform Snapdeal has announced the integration of two new D2C Fashion Brands – Rangita and Urban Mark on its platform. Both brands are owned by Stellaro Brands, which focuses on affordable fashion for men and women.

The launch of the brands comes against the backdrop of the growing share of value-conscious shoppers in India’s e-commerce growth, which is expected to constitute 73% of total online shoppers over the next 4 years. A recent study by consulting firm RedSeer estimates that the number of largely middle-income shoppers will triple, from 78 million in 2021 to nearly 256 million in 2026.

Urban Mark and Rangita cater to the needs of consumers in the middle income group, the majority of whom live in India’s Tier ll+ cities. The consumers they target are value seekers and fashion savvy shoppers.

The Urban Mark range includes smart casual wear, the latest athleisure styles and Indo-Western clothing. The range of clothing is completed with comfortable shoes and shoes for casual use and accessories such as socks, handkerchiefs, belts, etc. Similarly, Rangita targets young women who are looking for contemporary Indian clothing options including a range of kurtas, costume sets, dupattas, leggings, lehengas, stockings and accessories such as fashion jewelry to wear everyday.

With a strong focus on value, the complete collection of the two brands is priced between Rs 249-499 with various combo packs making purchases satisfying and suitable for buyers wallets. Currently available exclusively on Snapdeal, the festive collections from Urban Mark and Rangita will be available online in the coming weeks.

Saurabh Bansal, Merchandising Director at Snapdeal, said:While requirements and preferences vary from region to region and season to season, there is a huge and growing demand for value-added fashion across the country. A large cohort of emerging buyers are looking for the assurance and consistency of quality usually associated with premium brands, but at prices that fit their budgets. Snapdeal focuses on this bridge by carefully integrating the two most important criteria for a value buyer – quality and price. Rangita and Urban Mark are aligned with this approach and we are happy to have them on board ahead of the festive season which begins at the end of this month.

Over the past six months, Snapdeal has expanded the availability of good quality, value-priced options in mega categories like fashion, home, and beauty by integrating other Stellaro brands like Hometales (home category), Miyuki , Aragma and Nord (beauty and personal care).
