Battersea Power Station signs a slew of fashion brands ahead of fall opening

Ahead of its autumn Opening, Battersea Power Station (BPS) recruited other major retailers to join its range.

Fashion brands in the updated range include Hackett, Superdry and Mulberry, Levi’s, Theory and Abercrombie & Fitch.

Luxury jeweler Rox will open its first store in London as part of the development and BPS said 90% of its retail space is now let, with 85% of retail and leisure space swapped or under offer.

Battersea Power Station Development Company managing director Simon Murphy said in a statement: ‘The countdown to the power station opening to the public for the first time in history is well and truly underway.

“From this autumn, local residents, Londoners and visitors from further afield will be able to see for themselves how the Grade II listed landmark has been transformed into a shopping and leisure destination like no other.”

The new brands join previously announced names that will open their doors at the BPS, including Uniqlo, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, The Kooples, Ray-Ban, L’Occitane, Gant, Lacoste, Mango, Reiss, Hugo Boss, MAC Cosmetics, Space NK and Jo Malone London.

The opening of BPS should create more than 2,500 jobs.
