The nature of the human being

The Nature of the Human being

What makes a being human? Is it the physical appearance, that by either virtue of God’s sixth day creation or the highest form of Darwin’s evolution makes it distinct from all other species? Is it the intellectual Ability that brings it in a much higher pedestal in this hierarchy of living things? The heartbeat? The ability to love?

The four known intelligences of man– physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual, is the self.

Self; either believed as a dichotomy (spirit and body), or trichotomy (spirit, soul, and mind), is what would dictate its very nature. Primarily its ability to identify one as a self is a function of a being. That identification is not forced, nor given, but chosen. This is the freedom that human has, the ability to choose from right or wrong, left or right, or by choosing or not.

The nature of the human being, where life breathes in its very soul, through the miraculous union of two unique entities becoming one, is one of which that is only able to care and be cared for, to sacrifice and to be sacrificed for, and above all else, one of which, I believe, its ability to believe in a higher form greater than itself.
