Last night I had this insane idea to make Chai Seed Pudding. I don't know where that notion came from, but there I was in the kitchen following a highly recommended recipe on Pinterest for chocolate peanut butter chai seed pudding.
Mix all of the ingredients together and store it in the fridge overnight. So very easy, or so I thought! When I woke this morning, all I could think about was that delicious pudding. Then, like a scene straight out of a horror movie, I discovered the pudding never set!
What had I done wrong? I'd followed the directions exactly! I decided it was time to do some research and learned two very possible reasons that it didn't set.
- I did not add enough seeds to the mixture.
- It needed room temperature ingredients and at least 20 minutes of constant stirring before it could be refrigerated.
