Recently I decided to write a post about Facebook's insight page. I wanted to show my readers that I could gain views and keep an eye on my favorite business pages/competitors. In less than a week I gained 4 additional likes to my page!

Now I know this may seem like such a baby step but to me, 4 new fans is a huge jump that I am extremely grateful for. And the process was so simple that even my 15-year-old autistic son can do it!
There were really only three things I did during this process:

1. I changed my profile photo. I wanted something fun and real, not a professional stiff photo that fans can't really relate to.
2. I started sharing my blog posts from here to my facebook business page. Usually, I would update my facebook page content about once a month if that. I knew the silence wasn't doing me any good and I needed to keep my readers interested. I also needed to attract new readers, so fresh content was a must. Hey, 5 new posts in a week is better than that 1 post a month, so I'd say that's pretty darn good in my opinion!
3. The final thing I did was updated my cover photo. I'm still not sure if I'm really 100% happy with the cover, but it's a huge improvement from the last, and I did notice some likes, so I'm going to test it for a while to see what happens.
