The First COVID-19 Vaccine

I just like to share that I feel hopeful (and a bit teary eyed) as I watched the news this evening about Margaret Keenan, a 90-year old grandmother, who became the first person to receive the Covid Vaccine prduced by Pfizer-BioNTech in England. Yes, this is history.

And what makes the event more historic for us Filipinos, is that the historic inoculation was administered by May Parsons, a Filipina. Truly, Filipino healthcare workers around the globe are really good in their fields.

I would also like to share some notes from Fr. Jun Sescon’s homily last Sunday. Maybe this pandemic thing is God’s way of stripping and purifying us and letting us realize our blessings and the things that are more important. So that once this pandemic is over, we are ready to face the world again with our new perspectives about life.

I hope that we are now seeing the light at the end of this tunnel. Thank you again to all the frontliners.
