On our trip over the south of the island, we passed the Maison de la Banane just when it closed for lunch. It wasn't our lucky day for visiting things.  We took the turn on the south of the island back north and the landscape changed a lot. Gone were the steep volcanic slopes but a wider flatter land showed up and it was filled with banana plants.  Banana's everywhere. The banana
