It is not just the mountains, the valley and the landscape that make the Kootenay's so special.  It is also the place where so many people I care about a lot are still around.  When I'm around it's always quite busy trying to spend time with my Host Families and friends.  Of my 4 host families, unfortunately only one of them lives in the valley anymore but also my 2 host sisters and their family
