Since we were staying in a hotel nearby the station and the Zoo in Antwerp and since we have a subscription to the Zoo, it was easy to spend part of our afternoon upon our arrival exploring the Zoo again. It had been 3 years. As always I feel a mixture of admiration of the glorious old buildings there, imagination how great such an exotic zoo in the midst of the city center in previous centuries
