After visiting all Normandy D-Day landing beaches, we headed just 5km inland in the direction of Caen where it all started in the night of June 5th and June 6th in preparation of the sea armada landing.  In order to make the landing a success the Allied troops had to secure their way inland and the crossing of the Orne and the canal next to it. The liberation and securing of the Pegasus Bridge (
