While all parking lots near the Botrange were overly full, we found a bit of gorgeous birch wood near the German border to Walk (or in Kabouter's case: to bike, walk or ride dad's neck). The advantage of going for walks in the woods of Küchelscheid (Elsenborn) is not only that they are less crowded, yet they are almost all bike/stroller accessible! We were almost alone and it was fabulous!

We started off at Thomasbrücke and took the relatively new, yet popular Ravel L48 bikeroad next to the old railroad before we headed into the woods: much easier than the previous time I walked here with a friend and we had to cross the railbike all the time!
