It is a fashion to Criticize younger generation, when we were young our elders used to criticize our behavior how we used to wear clothes our lifestyle and our eating habits, not respecting elders, and now when we have teenaged kids we too criticize their behavior we don’t like their habits of eating , their clothing style, it will go like that only when they will become parents they too will criticize their kids and younger genet ions. I think it should be stopped somewhere we should just observe them and try to accept that they too have rights to behave like their generation, but we must keenly watch their behavior and if they are making any big mistake try to point out it and how it will affect it their life and your responsibility ends here. Leave up to them the further actions. So they will be more responsible and would not make serious mistakes. And have respect for us too. Thus we are giving them a moderate liberty and responsibility which will not be a burden but a boost for their confidence.
