Auld Lang Syne

So it's almost 2008. I'm not doing anything special tonight, as a matter of fact I Spent the evening with my mom. I'm not getting drunk, I'm not with a huge group of people, Chris is sleeping. I've never been a big fan of celebrating New Year's Eve, but it's always kind of fun to think about the past year.
I started a new job that I was extremely nervous about, but now I love it and hope I can stay for a while longer.
I spent another year with Chris and couldn't be happier. I couldn't ask for a better friend and I love him with all of my little Kyssa heart :)
We moved into a new apartment and got another kitty named Tonks. We're pretty happy with the apartment, but have been keeping our eyes on houses in town just in case something amazing turns up.
I got my nose pierced and my first tattoo practically in the same month. Pretty bad ass, I know.
I started school again this fall and even though it was a lot of work getting back into a school schedule again, I made it through alive. And with any luck I'll graduate before I'm 30.
My mom was remarried and I've never seen her this happy.
Basically 2007 was a great year. Maybe while it was happening it didn't seem very good, but in retrospect it was darn fantastic.

Now on to 2008. I don't usually make resolutions because I think it's stupid. I never keep them and to me it's just another thing to fail at, but I just recently decided to give it a go. This year I'm going to start doing yoga. My freshman and sophomore years of college I did yoga every once in a while with a close friend and I always felt more relaxed, well rested and healthier. I'm not going to say I'm going to do it every day, I'm not going to say I'm going to do it for 30 minutes, I'm just going to try to make it a habit. Doesn't sound too difficult does it? Wish me luck! And good luck with your resolutions :)

Happy New Year!!
