Back at the end of August, we took a week long Trip to Flagstaff, AZ. We go there every year to escape the heat. Flagstaff sits at 7000 ft., so the temps are usually around 20 to 30 degrees cooler than Vegas.
  And of course, the main thing we do there besides enjoying the cool temps, is eating and drinking!

The  University of Northern Arizona is here, so the downtown has a lot of restaurants and bars.

And here's the suite we get at the Marriot Residence Inn that is right downtown.....




It's a very large nicely appointed room with a full kitchen and huge windows.   And this is a view out our room....

The mountains in the background are the tallest in Arizona. And yes, they have skiing in the winter.

So, we had a great time! Good food, and a nice break from the Vegas heat.
