Best Books for Preschoolers According to Follett’s at Opening Minds Conference

Last week I got the chance to attend the Opening Minds Conference in Chicago. Opening Minds is the largest early-education conference in the U.S. that brings together the latest in trends and innovation in early childhood education. They had some amazing workshops and education seminars and I wish I could have attended them all, but one that I wanted to share with you all was Follett’s List of recommended books for preschoolers. Here’s what they are recommending – let me know if you have your favorites for your young ones!

  • Swim Duck Swim
  • Boom Boom Boom
  • I am Abraham Lincoln
  • I Want to be an Astronaut
  • A Trip Into Space
  • Could Not Would Not Fall Asleep

  • How do Dinosaurs Say I’m Mad
  • Superworm
  • The Great Sheep Shenanigan
