So . . . Let's state the obvious. It's been a while. However, the goal for this year is to post more! Yes, I know it's March but hey goals are goals no matter what time of year you start them. I am still a college student at Brigham Young University studying Family History and Genealogy. I love my major and seriously am so glad that is what I have chosen to basically be my life.

During the fall, (September-December), I had the amazing opportunity to go to Vienna, Austria to complete my family history internship. Vienna is an amazing city, and I wish I could live there forever. I still have no idea how to speak the language, (I know, but lots of people speak English there), but a piece of my heart will forever remain there. Working in Viennese Archives and complete family trees on site was an amazing experience. For anyone who ever has the chance to go to Austria, I highly recommend it. It's a beautiful city with an incredible history.

Currently, as I said before, I am studying at BYU and loving life! I will be, hopefully, graduating next April (so a year and a month from now), and I'm not sure if I should start counting down the days or be sad that it will soon be over. I think the conflicting emotions stem from the fact that I will miss the people, but will not miss the homework. (Seriously. So. Much. Homework.).
