Is all done?

In 2nd Nephi 31:19 says, " And now, my beloved brethren after ye have gotten into this strait and narrow path, I would ask if all is done? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for ye have not come thus far save it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of him who is mighty to save."

I think sometimes, and I am so guilty of this, we as members become complacent about things. As I write this I could walk twenty minutes either north or west and be at a temple and have I gone to either one of them in the past four weeks? Unfortunately, the awnser is no.

We've all had experiences like this, none of us are Perfect. However, there is one excellent point in this verse, "... for ye have not come thus far save it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of him who is mighty to save."

Meaning, we can not do this without Christ. Without Him, we cannot make it. We would never ever, ever be able to make it. This week in institute I have realized to follow all the "Sunday school" answers, be baptized and going to church every Sunday is not enough. None of those things mean anything unless we welcome Christ into our lives wholeheartedly.

He has experienced everything that you have, he knows exactly what it is like to be you. Because he knows, he knows how to help you on a unique individual level. Our Heavenly Father wants to be there for us as well, we go to him in prayer which is an amazing communication process.

We have the opportunity to talk to diety as many times as we want every single day. He is the perfect counselor, the perfect giver of advice.

So this week I invite you to let Christ and our Heavenly Father into your life completely and fully. Consult them about everything, and let them walk with you every day because remember, you are never alone.
