Not wanting to go back, while at the same time . . .

Sigh. Summer's almost over, and it's a shame that this must be just as I'm starting to enjoy it and not want to go back to college. Hopefully, though, I'll be able to go home as many weekends as possible.

Last weekend went a lot like that of last weekend, only with more activity. Got up at 8 Saturday morning, had an eight-hour workshift, went to D&D, then exerted myself in swordfighting until my reflexes went to hell, went home, got about forty-five minutes of sleep, went in for a six-hour shift, went home, slept for about two hours, then went to bed at around ten.

Ah, yes, I was talking about why I want to go back. This time around, I'm going to be turning in my work app at the library the very first chance I get (as in, the first day it's open and I can stop by) in hopes that it'll be one of the first they'll look at when hiring. Also, I'd like to put in an app at Bob Evans or such (a step up, and there might be a chance now that I have food and cashiering experience) as a second job. Between the jobs (hopefully), class, choir, church, and study, there won't be much time left for reading, D&D, video gaming (which a new friend is determined to teach me), and other social activities. Maybe the occassional walk at night or meeting at Shadows (the nighttime eating place).

If nothing else, at least I'll be able to keep up with my new friends via the cell phone after Leaving. Sigh . . . It's not often I make new friends off the computer, and I almost never have an actual group of friends (only one other one, the girls here at home, and there are only four of us in that group and we rarely get together), and it makes me sad that we'll be scattered across Ohio in a few weeks. Actually, in about one week, since Trevor's leaving for Ball State next Wednesday.

At least I won't be so unhappy about going home on holidays and come next summer.

Mmm, caffine . . . can hardly wait 'til Wednesday! Fwee! ^_^
