Last week I had the honour of photographing the staff of Bridges For Women. It was my third Photo Shoot with them since 2010 (the first one was all about leather, the second one was all about business).
Bridges is a non-profit agency offering employment training and supportive programs for women affected by trauma, violence, or abuse. Their website openly declares that they are "a gutsy, innovative, heart-centered community agency." At each photo shoot, it's my job to try and capture that sentiment.
This year's theme was "Superheroes," and they rented costumes to get into character. In addition to group shots, I also took portraits of each woman, to be used on their website and promotional materials.
In short, it was a three hour romp around Beacon Hill Park with flying superhero capes. Loved it!
Here are some of my favourite pics.
