Babyplus Prenatal Education System: It really WORKS!

It was such a surprise that I learned I was pregnant.  It wasn't planned at all.  In fact, I was telling myself and getting into the mindset of having a life of bringing the kids to school, picking them up and tutoring them at home.  I told myself, that this was the path - that this was the kind of life that I needed to get used to.  And I was getting used to it honestly.

I wasn't expecting it.  No plans were in order.   Then surprise, I was pregnant!

All those breastfeeding, sleepless nights, endless baby cries, and fussiness all came back to me immediately.  I felt dread more than excitement.  I was more worried than happy.  My previous pregnancies were all easy ones - it was after giving birth that I had a hard time.  In theory, I knew that I needed to hire a new yaya or a new helper in the house.  We were surviving with having just one to take care of the household and now this.  I remember Kailee being a very fussy baby.  She was very gassy.  Connor was also fussy.  I remember them  being very sensitive to noise, sound and movement.  I remember needing to dance and rocking them to sleep.  All of those things came back to me like blood rushing through my brain and body.  It took me a really long while to accept that I was pregnant.  I just thought to myself, enjoy it while its there!  Babies are blessing, right?

One thing I am really curious about was the Babyplus Prenatal Education System.  I've seen some friends who used it during their pregnancies.  Honestly, I have no idea on the effect.  I've read about it in passing but I never really made an effort to learn more about it because I had no plans in having another baby.  But, during this pregnancy, I was really curious.  And it was really by a stroke of luck that I got lent a unit of the Babyplus to use and to try.  I remember reading that the effects will only be seen once the baby is out.  There was no harm in trying it right?

So I tried it.

I wasn't aware of the sound.  Well, I had an idea that it was sound of something - but I didn't know what to expect, so I was surprised to hear that it was like drum beats.  Different drum beats depending on the number on the display.  I honestly felt like it was straight from the Jumanji movie.  Hahaha.. It was quite loud, not very loud but a noticeable sound that you cannot miss.

So I used it regularly and brought it with me everywhere even when I travelled.  I was that dedicated to the system.  I had to use it consistently everyday on specific times.  I would wear it and use it during the morning - after I bring the kids to school and another one at night after dinner.  I did my very best to make sure to follow the time (since it needed to be the same time everyday)  There were times that I used it on a different time, but mostly I followed the schedule to a T.  It was only during my travels that I found it hard to follow the schedule.  But I think as long as you wear it and use it twice a day - I think that's good enough.

So what is the Babyplus Prenatal Education System?

I must admit, I was skeptical at first.  I mean, seriously - how can it be proven right?  But I still tried it.  I mean, nothing left to lose, right?  So I did - and as I mentioned, I followed it religiously as much as I could.  I think I was the best test subject because I have two older kids who were not exposed to the system.

I honestly just had an open mind.  I was told to notice everything when the baby comes.  And here is my honest to goodness observations on the effects of the system:

The day I gave birth was chaos - it was an auspicious date literally thus there were a LOT of births scheduled and un-scheduled.  I remember being in the recovery room for a long long time and hearing Shobe cry so much!  But you know what - when we were finally wheeled into the room, Shobe was a really really cooperative baby.  I noticed though that she was really calm.  She would just squirm a bit when she was hungry and she would rarely cry.  She was a very chill baby in the hospital.  At home, I was having helper issues - but Shobe was such a trooper, she was very calm at home and was very cooperative.

Shobe was a totally different baby compared to Kailee and Connor.  Shobe was very chill, calm and I felt she understood our helper issues and was never fussy.  My Panget and I were ready for those endless crying, those nights when you needed to rock them to sleep?  I was prepared for those because I personally experienced them.  We were worried about the noise situation since there are the two older kids - but with Shobe, it was totally different.  Even if the room was noisy with Kailee and Connor playing around, or if my Panget and I were watching TV, she was really calm - and just sleeps quietly.  She would make little movements here and there and cry softly when she's hungry - but over all, CALM.  She was such an easy baby to care for.  Even Yaya B was amazed!  We were all delightfully amazed, really.  And I must say, the difference was in the Babyplus system.

She was an easy baby to take care of.  I didn't have a hard time adjusting.  I was so thankful really because I was in my head, I was thinking "damage control" already.  But for at time - you know, I thought - maybe this was a fluke, that maybe it was just because the first month was easy.  Then I have a friend tell me that it's no fluke.  She also tried the Babyplus system on her son (who is a few months older than Shobe) and she really said that the Babyplus made all the difference.  She two has two older kids who were not Babyplus babies - and she tells me that it's really different with her son.  I was crossing my fingers and toes that it would be the same for us.  And you know what - Babyplus really made a HUGE HUGE difference!

You want to hear more?  Shobe after a month old, would soothe herself and sleep by herself at times.  I mean, she would still need a bit of rocking, but she was calmer - there was a time when I had to go to the bathroom really bad and I was alone, so I lay her in the playpen, she was a bit fussy - but I needed to go to the bathroom really bad.  And she was crying (not really loud, but you know the normal cry) and I was trying my very best to finish (sorry, too much information!) and when I did, I suddenly noticed that the room was quiet - and when I checked on her, she was already asleep!  I was literally AMAZED.  I mean when it was Kailee or Connor you would not hear the end of their earth shattering crying and screaming!  But with Shobe - it was really really different.  We have said it time and again - it's really the Babyplus System.  It was such an amazing thing to see Shobe self soothe, I mean - I swear she's just a few months old that time.  And you know what?  She can sleep by herself at times!  I would just lay her on my bed and after a few turns here and there - she's be asleep!  I swear, it's really amazing how this Babyplus System helped me as an almost new parent.

Now that Shobe is more than 6months old, I can see more good effects of the Babyplus System.  Shobe is definitely a calm baby, she can self soothe, she can also play by herself.  She learned to sit on her own, a few days before turning 7months old.  Now, she would try and lift her self up, sit up, reach down to change her position and reach for so many stuff.  In a span of a few days, her development was amazing.  It seems like she developed so much in so little time!  It was really impressive.

I am now a believer in the Babyplus System.

And I really really recommend that you invest in this system.  If you are still thinking about getting one, I tell you GET ONE NOW!  It's really an investment - invest in your future child! I wish I knew of this system when Kailee was born.  But I am so glad now that I was able to use it on Shobe.  I'm really thankful for this system because it was such a big help to me and Yaya B.  Especially when you have bigger kids, domestic help issues and a lot more going on in life.  Shobe was really cooperative, we always say that it seems like she understand the situation and adjusts to what is happening around her.  For that, I am really really thankful to the Babyplus System.
