When I was young from an unknown age until I was about 12, I wanted a Barbie Mansion for Christmas. Actually, I would’ve accepted it at any time of the year. Thinking about this now, I should probably buy myself one. I’d have to stock up a Barbie collection. I’d give up my owl addiction in lieu of acquiring some plastic, naked ladies. Does anyone still play with Barbies anymore? They’re never a hot toy in the Black Friday ads, or so it seems.

This Christmas I feel content. I was able to spend time with most of my family four times this year. Normally, I’m very sad around the holidays, but this year I’m feeling it and I think that it’s because I feel fulfilled family-wise.

So, I’m going into this season with a heart full of spirit and I hope you do, too!
