Feeling Blue

There is always a great risk involved when you let someone in your life. You may fall for a person, and put all your faith, beliefs and trust in them. All it takes is a simple lie, or a rain in your life to move away the cloud of illusion you had for that person, and without even realizing you have given a single person the power to destroy your faith in life. Love is a strange thing, it can pull you high above and let you fly above clouds, and also let you act like an ostrich who buries his head in the dessert to save itself from embarrassment or fear. But then what does that ostrich do after that?

The one thing that is amazing about humans are that, they are very strong creatures, not physically but emotionally. Probably, the failure of so many relationships  in our generation is due to the abuse of this very power. Everyone knows that it is not the end of the world if you are leaving someone you still care about.

I am not Feeling Blue because of a breakup, but I am feeling blue because I have never felt this disappointed about the world I live in. Where it is just another normal day, when you hurt a person who has done nothing but care about you. I am not saying I am perfect, probably unknowingly I have done that too. Life is unfair this way, and maybe this is what we millennials have done it to make it interesting to live in. But the question is, does this emotional challenge to ourselves make us happy?

Guess I got what I deserve
Kept you waiting there, too long my love
All that time, without a word
Didn’t know you’d think, that I’d forget, or I’d regret

The special love I have for you
My baby blue
