President! Me! Not this time…

For the last 2 presidential campaigns I have announced my candidacy for President of The United States. But, this go-around….I’ve decided to sit this one out.

Such a nasty political climate!! I wouldn’t last very long. After all, I probably grab a tit when I was 5 months old and that’ll brand as to whatever is the popular bullying special that’s afloat at the time.

I would also be bashed by CNN on a daily basis for some word that I said that now has a different ‘social’ meaning than it’s actual meaning that I used some 30 years ago. My friends abroad would be aghast at my usage and behavior…all thanks to CNN. CNN has a headlock on news overseas and in all the airports and they are by far the most biased group of people the world could collect in one spot. And they don’t even try to hide it!

I can see it now…..young women I may or may not have met in my younger days telling some sob story of a backseat event that, well that never happened or is greatly exaggerated. Or maybe we were just 2 young adolescence following our raging hormones. It seems that’s a no-no today. You know, young viral people are at a great disadvantage of having fun nowadays.

I’ve always thought that I had a good solid platform to run on for presidency, maybe I was missing a couple planks but I not a ‘real’ politician either. Which would make me an easy target.

My platform; free enterprise, follow the laws of the land, enforcing the laws of the land, solid education, freedom of sexual expression, legalize marijuana, more prudent drug testing (along with mind altering drugs for safety), lower pharmaceutical cost. I also support open trials of treatments for life threatening diseases, lower healthcare cost and no exceptions on what will be treated, remove all bias of social and sexual practices, etc. And let’s not forget our military or senior citizens

Maybe, I’m not missing too many planks but, they might not be nailed down well (I would say screwed down well, but no doubt that would be misinterpreted!).

I’m looking at this coming elections candidates and there are people Running that are career politicians that don’t stand a chance of winning and they have every right to run and put forward their ideas…..but what about all the millions of dollars they raise and then pull out of the running. Just a random thought.

I once ‘Streaked’!!! That’s right, I ‘streaked’. There’s photos somewhere out there. I was quite hairy back then, some I’m not so sure I want that on the front pages of all the newspapers ‘worldwide’!!! After all, you can’t ‘unsee’ such things.

With the creative journalism atmosphere that exists, I can’t even imagine what innocent thing I’ve done in the past that would be trodden out as some over-the-top scandalous event.

I’m no Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Beto O’Rourke, Corey Booker (aka ‘Spartacus”), Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Ronald Reagan, John Kennedy, Jeff Flake, Rosanne Barr, etc.

I’m sitting this Presidential campaign out….
