Where oh where should this go?

It’s my RV. I most definitely have more Stuff than I can store on a 26 foot RV and that’s downsized from a 1250 square foot Floridian Paradise.

Why oh why did I ever do that???? Oh, that’s right, so I could travel. And I’ve been doing the traveling stuff and now it’s setting things up to do some traveling across the ‘Fruited Plains’.

I have trampled my way thru over half the continental United States….but not really seeing it up close and personal. And that’s what I want to do….up close and personal.

Last summer we took our daughter Carrie on her vacation. Her choice of place, her plan, me….I was just the driver, the tag-a-long. I had no input, nor did I offer any and honestly it was a very delightful time. What could’ve been better isn’t something I’d care to write about, so I won’t.

Back to ‘where should this go’.

I thought all my stuff was useful. HA!!! Reality is like….’why am I holding on to this?’ Therein lies the fight. I’ve been downsizing for almost 4 years now, it seems almost continually and yet here I am downsizing even more!

Clothing wise I’ll have a tad bit more room which really isn’t anything to brag about. My shoe(s) will sit next to my bed, my computer, Kindle and phone will sleep with me.

WHERE!!!!!

I am surprised with the refrigerator, it looks bigger than it really is….I won’t be able to stock up on the experimental beers I was hoping to challenge my tastebuds. Food will be kept at a much lower storage level than I thought and I’ll be making more frequent grocery runs.

Ice. Ice will be a very rare commodity.

It’s an RV, not a House….

I’ve begun adjusting by sleeping in the RV instead of Carrie’s house…..she is now in the process (rapidly I might add) and reacquiring the spaces that I frequented. It is her house afterall. I’m ‘extremely’ appreciative of her putting up with me and my little ways during my financial restocking time. I’ll remember this….

So, I’ve gotten a few nights under my belt sleeping in my new palace and it’s time to move my awesome stuff into my humble abode.

Now, where should I put…..

Tougher than I thought. I’ve just thrown away stuff that, well I’d have liked to have kept. Now, I have 3 more things that reality tells me aren’t welcome in side my portable tin can. That’s 2 keyboards, a drum kit, and my Digi Rack (it’s my bulking recording interface). The Digi Rack has been with me almost as long as my first keyboard…..which has served me so very well. Sad.

I know, that’s 4 things….HEY!!! It’s my blog!

Now, keep in mind for a moment the 3….I mean 4 things I just mentioned because 3 guitars and a stool must, yes must accompany me. I’ve also have my photography equipment which is ever growing….I’ve got books that I like too!!! I’ve had them in storage and I want them to accompany me!!! You would be floored by the number of CD’s and DVD’s I have in this digital age. What am I supposed to do with them?? Yeah, my CD’s are digitally stored on my computer in iTunes, but the movies, that can’t be done as such. So, they get a whole overhead storage bin over my bed. Under the bed….there’s storage that’s shared with the outside access. There’s a jack, tire tool, extension cord, etc. there.

This is a Challenge…..

Hey!!! I haven’t gone anywhere yet, and I haven’t mentioned anything about the cookware!! I’ve got to eat!!

Where do I put this stuff!!!

The idea of where to put something and what tags along with me has taken over my life these past 16 hours. I’m sure I’ll overcome this some…..where along the roads before me.

And now that I’m back writing my blog…..the software had been updated and there’s lots of technical writing techniques that I’m totally oblivious to that I keep being prompted about. I’m not accustomed to thinking in was of grammar, just speaking and writing.

Right now, it’s telling me I’ve got 4 problems and it’s giving me a ‘sad’ face emoji! I’ve got more going on than those 4 problems I’ll have you know, you software thingy you!!!

I still have to find where to store all my TOILET PAPER!!!!
