We’re People Meeting People

We’re People Meeting People

It just doesn’t happen when I’m out traveling…it happens to me when others are traveling through wherever I’m at too.  And to me, this makes life a little richer.

It’s Meeting people.  While it may just be a simply acquaintance, it is much more in a more open and larger view of life.

People!

I’m not gonna bog down this blog with a lengthily list of the people I’ve met and their backgrounds…I’m just gonna back-up to my Visit in Madrid, Spain.

This was fun….even though the communication was a bit off (I speak poor broken English…my bad) it was enjoyable.  Putting out the effort, I make people laugh more than they usually would.  I tend to speak too slow (that’s what Roger(pronounced Row kay) says), I also incorporate my own strange sign language along the way and you’ll see….laughter is the result.

We’re people meeting people.

This is in Madrid, Spain….quite possibly my favorite of all I’ve visited thus far and as I’m writing this I’m further on…..in a bit I’ll be in Croatia.  I’m behind on my writing because of all my doing.

Anyway, Madrid, Spain and I believe this was my last night there.  There was this restaurant/Coffee Bar not too far away from my hotel.  I’d had breakfast there before and several coffees during my stay but, I’d never been there in the evening or had a drink there.  This night I made that different.

Welcome to “el Errante”!!!

People
The owner and host.

I must say, the friendliness and the service made me feel I’ve known them for years and was just getting reacquainted.  Smile and enthusiasm!!!  Contagious.  Needless to say this visit involved and extra glass of wine.

There’s a warmth and charm that is beyond the newness and adventure of exploring.  I’d have to encourage anyone who reads this to stop in and visit!!!  It’s worth the price of cafe’, food, and wine and certainly worth the experience of meeting everyone there.

Not just the experience is good here…..but the wine, I adored!!  The coffee, was the very best….and did I mention the wine??

Antonio spoke better English than I did.

“el Errante” more than complimented the surrounding cobblestone streets and sidewalks that make up this vintage area of Madrid.  I honestly didn’t want to leave.  Which means I’ll have to reschedule a visit!

Do yourself a favor, come in late and stay as late as they allow!

Peace, love, and beaches,

John
