Valencia!!!

Valencia!!!

Valencia, Spain!

That’s the next stop…  This will be my shortest blog of all.

Why???

It rained the whole time there!!!  Well except for the first few hours.  The things I wanted to see, the things I wanted to do, I couldn’t.  So, three days spent indoors.   It was a nice Condo though, but with a very sour view. It faced toward the Gulf of Cadiz but with the clouds, rain, buildings, and a bit of distance I didn’t get to see that either.  I probably won’t be putting this on my list of places to revisit.

This is just after moving in…  Just a bit before the monsoon came thru.  It was quite enjoyable though.  The condo is located directly behind the building in the background on the 7th floor.  You can see the balconies of the condo building to the right, behind the post.  It was a very nice and modernized condo.  The owner loved IKEA!!!  I do too….

I like shopping. To the left is a can of Old El Paso chili the 3.70 Euros is about $4.20 U.S. dollars.  These little cuties are ‘Mantis Shrimp’.  From what I understand they taste like ‘lobster’ and are very hard to peel.

I made a friend.  Chubby little fellow.  Yes, it’s a ‘he’.  A well endowed ‘he’.  Very friendly sort, it seems he’s a local at this cafe’.    He patiently waits for the treat and the woman.

Lining the boulevards of Valencia are orange trees….lots of orange trees!  It was the first thing I noticed…even before the architecture!!  Valencia Oranges???

One morning between rain showers, the building was serenaded!

And of course…rainy streets!!

Next stop!

Barcelona, Spain!!!!

Peace, love, and beaches,

John
