Hi!  Just A Quickie Here

Hi!  Just a Quickie here.  I’ve been off for a while.  I just didn’t have much going on….when nothing is happening, my creativity gets stiffled.  I guess there’s a lesson to learn here.  Actively pursueing something you like sparks your creativity to do more!

It was originally supposed to be just a brief visit to Louisiana.  Hollye’s wedding and the holidays.  Nine months later it’s time to head for Portugal.

But first…..I’m back home.  Home to me is Florida.  Now, I wasn’t born here (St. Petersburg, Florida) but I’ve made it my home.  Some folks back in Louisiana (where I was born), periodically get annoyed with me when I called St. Pete my home.  One aggressively questioned me as to how it can be home if you aren’t living there and you’re traveling.  Florida is my HOME!!!  Particularly the St. Petersburg area.

There’s other areas of Florida I Love, but I just love living here!

When I first got back here about a week ago, I got teary eyed!  I did.  You’re the first to know.

I find nothing bad about living here.  I enjoy what I do, and I do what I enjoy.  It’s a rather peaceful life with visits to the beaches (spectactular!) and beach bars…..I have FUN!  Plus, I know many people, I friend friendly. Hehehehe

Europe

So, I’m here….in St. Petersburg until the 23rd of September, I’ll then be in Miami for 4 days and flying to Lisbon, Portugal.  From there I’ll be trotting about Europe for about the next 16-18 months and if everything is going grand and my money is holding up…..I’ll extend it from there.  I originally wanted 4 years but my license renewal in Florida gets in the way.  Though, that’s not bad.  I’ll renew on line and if everything goes smoothly….I’ll stay.  If the money holds up!

I’ll be writing here of some of my recent adventures, cleaning up this site and adding new pics real soon.
