I have been wanting to try out Benefit’s They’re Real! Double The Lip Lipstick and I picked up the shade Pink Thrills, which is the Lip Liner and Beyond Sexy which is the lipstick shade. It is a two-in-one lip liner and lipstick, they have 8 different shades all of which have a lipstick shade and a complementing lip liner. Having a lip liner ‘built in’ with the lipstick saves you the trouble, money and time of having to buy each individually and trying to find a lip liner which matches the lipstick.
The lip liners are all slightly darker than the lipstick which creates a more defined lip shape and also helps give you more of an ombre effect. As expected with Benefit the lipstick is extremely pigmented and is very long lasting. I love that it is a combined lip liner and lipstick as I generally don’t use a lip liner because I prefer my lips not to look too sharp around the edges or fake. Unlike usual lip liners this one is a creamy consistency to match the lipstick which makes it really easy to blend if you don’t want such a defined lip liner.
The packaging and amount of product is quite small in comparison to the price, which is a little disappointing. But the size makes it very easy to travel with or keep in your bag. The product is on an angle which, I found, makes it easier to apply to your top lip but can be more tricky for the bottom. This is because you need to make sure the darker shade is on the outside and the applicator isn’t the easiest to use to make sure this happens.

- The lipstick and lip liner are built in together.
- The colours compliment each other well.
- It feels nice on the lips.
- It is long lasting.
Cons
- It is quite expensive (£16.50).
- There isn’t a lot of product for what you are paying.
- The applicator is very difficult to use.
