The “Professional” Photoshoot

Let me start off by saying I am not photogenic and naturally, hate get my pictures clicked. Whenever someone points a Camera at me, I run far away into a dark secluded corner and hide from the said photographer. Now, this might have been a slight exaggeration but it is somewhat true.
I don’t always avoid cameras like the plague but most of the times, that is that is the case.

But, none of that matters because my sister took up photography and had to make sort of a coffee table book. She kept asking me to model for a couple of pictures. I tried to refuse but in the end, I caved and there I was stuck in my worst nightmare.

So we made our way to the terrace and there she stood with her fancy DSLR, ordering me to do what she wanted and do it properly. But the problem was, when she started out, she Failed to mention one important detail; All she needed was my silhouette. And I’m perfectly okay with that. That’s actually better than normal pictures but nonetheless, she failed to mention it and that  led to me trying very hard to keep my expression was looking as if I was constipated, all the while not needing to worry about any of it but my posture.

Well, after it all, I did get a good picture to show off and I did make her book’s cover so it’s all good.
It’s never the end result I hate but always the process of it all. The hardest part being trying not to look awkward and always failing.
