Last week, I arrived back in the UK after two glorious weeks in the sun. I've always considered myself a city break kind-a-gal but having arrived in such a beautiful location in Port de Pollença, it was hard not to be taken in by the Stunning views, amazing cuisine and tourist hot spots. Here's a little look at Part I of our trip.

Home for the two weeks was a private villa just a stones through from the Port de Pollença beach front. Naturally, we stocked up on plenty of inflatables for the pool - including the rather lovely, Alice the flamingo and Ian the unicorn. Having unpacked and settled in, it was time to explore the island.
Luckily, we were in a great location to visit some of Mallorca's most famous spots, including Pollença Old Town and Alcudia. Both of which were stunning. We spent hours just wandering through the little cobbled streets, markets and enjoying the local cuisine. Great for getting our steps up was the 365 Calvari steps - a steep walk up to a peak which overlooked the island and the views did not disappoint. On lower ground, however, was a number of stunning churches which, no matter what your faith of beliefs, were breathtaking to explore.
In the evenings, Port de Pollença is arguably even prettier. Though it's not a million miles away from the likes of Magaluf, it is a quiet area but pleasantly busy in the evenings; with dozens of family-run restaurants and shops. Jack and I spent the majority of our evenings taking strolls along the Pine Walk and, of course, eating all the food. Oddly enough, I actually lost half a stone on this holiday - hardly surprising now given we walked absolutely everywhere and lived entirely on fresh fish and seafood for two weeks.
