I have another product review for you!
It's the Raspberry Roots Depuffing Eye Gel from The Face Shop~ It was a few months back, that I received a sample of this eye gel with my purchase. I was wanting to get a new eye gel for myself, so I decided to give it a go to see how it worked for me. I ended up loving it so much, that I purchased the full size of it ^.^
The design of the packaging is really nice~ It's fresh and clean looking, the box and the tube both. The little raspberry root pictures on them look cute ^.^
The amount of product that you're getting in the tube is great~ 25 ml/ 0.85 US fl. oz. That's a lot of gel your getting. The sample I got from The Face Shop, was about half the size of this and it lasted me a few months. The price for this in Canada is $18.00, not too sure about how the pricing would be in other countries =P
These are a few of the ingredients found in this product; Raspberry Root Extract, Sage, Chamomile, and Aloe Extracts~! Awesome right? ^.^ So many natural ingredients~ The Raspberry Root Extract will help to improve skin tone and elasticity. While the Sage, Chamomile and Aloe Extracts will soothe and relieve dry skin. Also this eye gel is alcohol free, so it will not dry your skin! It'll keep your eye area nice and supple~ <3
The eye gel has a thin consistency, and cloudy white colour to it~ The scent is very light and pleasant. If your someone who is sensitive to the scent of products, I don't think it should be much of a problem with this one. This is a gel, not a cream eye product. So it will last you much longer. The eye area is small, so for the amount that you need to use would be much smaller than the amount on my hand in the picture. A little bit goes a long way~
Depending on your skincare routine, you may apply this after washing your face, applying toner or your facial serums. Just make sure to always apply it before your moisturizer :3 Squeeze a small amount onto the pads of your ring fingers, then gently in a patting motion apply the eye gel around your eye area~ Under the eye, around the outer corners and on the eye lid.
The eye gel gives this really refreshing feeling on the skin~ At first I thought I was supposed to only use this in the morning, but I can actually use this day and night. So now it's my day & night eye gel. It helps a lot with the puffiness and dryness that my eyes get here and there. It's an awesome all around eye product. Over time, it does gradually help with improving the tone around your eyes. That is something you need to wait for about 2 weeks, until it starts to be noticeable. The depuffing effect is pretty much instant after applying it to the eye area. Every time I use it, my eye area is superrr hydrated and stays that way throughout the whole day/night.
I love how products from The Face Shop are natural and super effective. This is definitely a product that you should try out, if you're in need of an eye gel. Also if you have really puffy eyes in the morning like I do, you'll find this very helpful ^.^
